The CF Bedford
Useful links (if located in Auckland NZ)
I've used a lot of parts and services to build this van so I'd like to share these places and who knows, maybe even give them some work.
Note: There may be cheaper places around, but these people, I found good to deal with. Not just good, but good enough to go out of their way for me.
Thanks to everyone who has been involved in supplying parts/services for the van in one way or another.Not all have websites but all should be in the phone book.
- Landpro - for all your concrete, landscaping or building work.
- Freelance automotive - for your engineers (LVV) cert or if you want a hot rod, custom car made/worked on.
- C A Levien Sandblasters (76 Henderson Valley Rd, Henderson) - for all your sand blasting needs.
- Antunovich panelbeaters - (supplied original rear quarters) for all your general panel beating and spray painting.
- Accurate sheetmetals - for all your sheet metals, stainless etc.
- Western panelbeaters - although the boss doesn't know I used their folders a few times ;)
- Ram it - for disposing of car/van wrecks, free too.
- Ebay - for everything you can't find in NZ or can get cheaper overseas.
- Silverdale Radiators - helpful and knowledgeable for all your radiator needs. 09 426 0024 unit 2, 70 Forge Rd, Silverdale.
- Endless Spares - For all your Toyota needs, Great bunch of guys.
- McQuoid Auto Engineering - For Bedford parts and engineering jobs, also does WOF and mechanical stuff on top of CF conversions. No longer does CF Bedford parts, parts were all sold to Lance Cryer, ph 07 868 1226 (Thames)
- Rowes tyres - performance tyres and accessories, also race wear and Momo steering wheels etc.
- Znoelli - for wheel adapters, spacers and race brake needs.
- Custom Metal Polishing - Hot Rod & Custom motorcycle parts. Ph Steve 027 4463941 (NZ only) for all your polishing needs. Did great job on my mag wheels
- pick-a-part - for all those hard to find bits, although the silly cows behind the desk don't know the difference between a fan and a heater (wasn't the main girl). Also watch their prices, they are almost at wrecker prices, time wise some stuff is cheaper from wrecker.
- Dairy on the corner - for keeping stocks of coffee and sugar refreshed
